The Local Union-Management Consultation Committee (LUMCC) is a forum for open and constructive dialogue between union representatives and management. It provides a platform to raise workplace concerns, share information, and discuss policies and procedures through two-way communication on topics of mutual interest.
The strength of the union depends on its members. In the past, there may not have been a strong union presence, but that is changing. A strong union requires active participation—so get involved, join the union, and help spread awareness to your colleagues
The next scheduled LUMCC meeting will take place on April 17, 2025.
The union has the ability to call ad-hoc LUMCC meetings if urgent issues arise before the scheduled meeting.
LUMCC meetings are attended by union representatives at the executive level and management representatives, including managers and directors.
LUMCC discussions focus on workplace trends and collective concerns rather than individual grievances. However, if multiple employees raise similar concerns, they may be discussed as a broader issue.
You can submit items by scanning the QR code on the poster below, going to the link here: Your Voice Matters or by speaking to one of the local union stewards.

No. Submissions to the LUMCC are handled collectively, and individual names are not shared unless you choose to disclose them.
After each meeting, a Record of Decision (ROD) is uploaded to the intranet SharePoint site. All employees in the local office will have access to review these records, ensuring both management and the union remain accountable.
Please check the LUMCC page on the intranet. You can message one of the shop stewards in the office for the link. (Note: The LUMCC website can only be accessed on a work laptop.)
