CEIU ONtario Committees

What are they?

Within the Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU)—which is a component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC)—the Ontario Region has a number of committees that focus on specific issues, member engagement, and union development.

These regional committees are made up of volunteer members from locals across Ontario who work together to support, educate, and represent members in different areas.

CEIU Ontario committees:

  • Provide a space for members to collaborate on common goals and concerns.
  • Help advance equity, inclusion, and workplace rights within CEIU.
  • Advise and make recommendations to the Ontario Regional Council and National Executive on specific matters.
  • Organize workshops, events, and campaigns that promote awareness and member involvement.

These regional committees play a vital role in building solidarity, promoting education, and ensuring that all members’ voices are heard—especially those from underrepresented groups. They also create opportunities for leadership development and help strengthen CEIU’s overall advocacy power.
